Privacy Policy

Information disclosed on submission forms and reports, and any other communications between Histovet and veterinarians about individual patients, is strictly confidential and is intended only for use by staff of the veterinary clinic which submitted the case.

Reasonable inquiries from other parties, such as patient owners, referral specialists, insurance companies, regulatory bodies, and other veterinarians, will be discussed only with the permission of the veterinarian from whom the sample originated. Such parties can expect information related to reasonable medical questions and seek report clarification only if they are able to quote the Histovet case number.

Information that does not disclose the patient’s identity may be used by Dr. Wilcock for educational or scientific purposes, including scientific publications, seminar presentations, and conferences.

Our privacy policy is in compliance with the professional ethical obligations as established by the College of Veterinarians of Ontario, and with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act.
